What Is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?
To make PRP we take a small amount of blood, spin it to separate the platelets from the other cells, and put the platelets back into the liquid part of your blood (the plasma). Why does that matter? Because platelets have hundreds of specialized proteins called growth factors that aid healing. Since PRP is concentrated with a higher amount of platelets it's often used to treat wounds, tendon tears, and arthritis pain.

Now, we are using it to regrow hair. To do this, we inject PRP into your scalp with a small needle. The idea is that the growth factors help to create or stimulate new hair follicles. For best results we recommend 6 treatments overall, with your last treatment being a booster 6 months after your last visit.

Side effects may include minor pain at injection site, redness and swelling.
